These terms govern your use of the software products published at coldkiln.com (each a "Service"), operated by Stratum Capital (Pty) Ltd (registration number 2026/162047/07), a private company registered in South Africa ("we", "us").
Cold Kiln products are software tools for engineering documentation, monitoring and calculation. Some are free to use; paid tiers are billed as described on each product page.
We do not provide engineering, legal, procurement, tax or certification advice. Output produced by any Service — forms, documents, calculations, rankings — is a starting point that you must verify against the standards, drawings and contractual requirements that apply to your work. Responsibility for anything you submit to a customer, authority or counterparty remains yours.
Paid tiers are billed through our authorised reseller and merchant of record, Paddle.com Market Ltd, which handles payment processing, invoicing and applicable sales taxes. Your purchase contract is with Paddle; these terms govern use of the Services themselves.
You are responsible for the accuracy of data you enter. Content you create with a Service is yours. Free tiers may store data locally in your browser only.
You may not resell, scrape or systematically redistribute a Service or use it to build a competing dataset. Output you generate for your own business use is yours to use freely.
We aim for continuous availability but do not warrant uninterrupted service, and we may improve or modify Services over time.
To the maximum extent permitted by law, our total liability arising from a Service is limited to the fees you paid for it in the twelve months preceding the claim. We are not liable for rejected submissions, lost contracts, or missed deadlines.
These terms are governed by the laws of South Africa.
